Fourth of July St. Pete Pier 2026: Everything You Need to Know About The Fourth

Fourth of July St. Pete Pier 2026

Fourth of July St. Pete Pier 2026 is shaping up to be the most spectacular one yet. The Fourth Independence Day Celebration returns for its sixth year at Spa Beach Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with doubled fireworks, live music, a craft beer garden, food trucks, and patriotic energy all over the downtown waterfront. Here’s everything you need to know before you go.

When and Where: Fourth of July St. Pete Pier 2026

The party happens at Spa Beach Park and Family Park at the St. Pete Pier, located at 800 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Gates open at 4 pm and the event runs until 10 pm. The fireworks show, sponsored by the City of St. Petersburg, kicks off at 9 pm.

This year’s Fourth of July at St. Pete Pier 2026 carries extra weight: 2026 marks America’s 250th anniversary, and the fireworks show is being doubled in scale to match the moment. If you’ve made it out in past years, expect this one to blow all of them out of the water.

The event is free and open to the public. No ticket required to show up and enjoy.

Reserved Area Tickets

Want the prime fireworks viewing spot? The reserved area at Spa Beach Park is a fenced section with unobstructed views, room for chairs or a blanket, access to a reserved-only bar serving beer, cocktails, and seltzers, and portable restrooms inside the area.

New this year: commemorative America 250 light-up bracelets, one per ticket, in your choice of red, white, or blue. A solid keepsake for a historic Fourth of July at St. Pete Pier.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Kids 10 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.

Live Music and Entertainment

The Visit St. Pete Clearwater Main Stage will have live performances running throughout the evening. Headlining the stage is Actual Bank Robbers, a Tampa-based five-piece pop-rock band known for a high-energy Top 40 show covering everyone from Nirvana to the Spice Girls. They’ve played Jannus Live twice and headlined Busch Gardens, so they can absolutely work a crowd.

DJ Keytone and DJ Rich will keep the energy going between sets.

Roaming entertainers, a Family Fun Zone for the kids, and the 4th Annual St. Pete Pier Run round out the day’s activities for anyone who wants to make a full day of it.

Food and Drinks

You will not go hungry. The vendor lineup includes:

  • St. Pete Concessions: corn dogs, funnel cakes, arepas, pretzels, cheeseburgers, fresh squeezed lemonade, and iced tea
  • Main Street Empanada: beef, beef and cheese, spinach artichoke, chicken enchilada, Cubana, and jalapeño popper
  • La Strada: pizzas, calzones, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fries
  • Astro Craft Ice Cream: assorted craft flavors
  • Kona Ice, Looshkos, The BBQ Truck, Street Surfer, and more

Food runs $5 to $15 per meal. Drinks range from $6 to $10. There’s also a Craft Beer Garden on-site for those who want to set up camp and stay awhile.

Parking and Getting There

Fourth of July at St. Pete Pier 2026 draws a big crowd, so plan ahead. Rideshare is strongly recommended. If you drive, on-site parking at the Pier is $2.50 per hour up to six hours. If that fills up, the Sundial Garage is two blocks from the Pier entrance and a reliable backup.

Good to Know Before You Go

The event runs rain or shine. If it’s raining at fireworks time, the show may be delayed but the event itself continues. Dogs are welcome (patriotic outfits encouraged), though keep in mind fireworks can be tough on them. There is no age limit to attend.

Since there is no seating provided, bringing your own chair is a smart move. This Coleman Portable Camping Chair with built-in cooler is a crowd favorite for exactly this kind of event. It has a cushioned seat, side pockets, cup holder, and a four-can cooler built into the armrest.
