Summer Heat 2 Art Exhibition and Reception
GCAA ArtWorks is hosting Summer Heat 2 Art Exhibition and Reception in St. Petersburg on Saturday, July 11 from 5 PM to 9 PM.
The Gulf Coast Artists Alliance presents Summer Heat 2, the second annual juried exhibition featuring 20 artists from Tampa Bay and beyond. The show includes a mix of techniques and themes connected to summer, heat, summer landscapes, global warming and ways to beat the heat.
Francine Michel will also present Heat Up with Wax, a demonstration on encaustic, also known as wax painting, during the Art Walk reception at 5:15 PM. Live music by singer-songwriter and guitarist Keith Otten is scheduled from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Summer Heat 2 is on view July 2 through August 1 at GCAA ArtWorks Gallery. The July 11 reception is free and open to the public.
