Bounce Back to School: 5th Annual Backpack Giveaway – August 2026

Bounce Back to School: 5th Annual Backpack Giveaway is set for Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Deuces Park in St. Petersburg. Hosted by Saturday Shoppes, this free community event is a back-to-school celebration packed with family-friendly activities, giveaways, food, and local vendors.

Families can expect free backpacks while supplies last, free food, bounce houses, face painting, games and prizes, music, vendors, information booths, free parking, and free entry. Pets are also welcome.

Guests are encouraged to RSVP “Going” on the event page for a chance to win a $25 gift card to spend onsite.

Saturday Shoppes is also looking for vendors and organizations to join the event. According to the event listing, limited spots are available for info vendors such as schools, nonprofits, churches, healthcare groups, banks, after-school programs, and community resources. There are also limited openings for food trucks and product vendors including boutiques, sweet treats, candles, sea moss, toys, and kids apparel.
