Open Mic Poetry at The Dalí Museum

The Dalí Museum is hosting Open Mic Poetry in St. Petersburg on Thursday, December 10, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.
This free community event invites poets and poetry lovers to gather for an evening of creativity, spoken word and shared stories.
Hosted by former St. Petersburg Poet Laureate Helen Pruitt Wallace, in partnership with Curtis Davis and Dennis Amadeus of Tampa’s GrowHouse poetry collective, the event gives poets an opportunity to share their original work on stage.
The signup list opens at 5:30 PM outside the museum’s Will Raymund Theater. Twenty performance spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with three additional standby spots if time permits. Each poet receives three minutes at the microphone.
All poetry styles are welcome. Guests can participate as performers or simply enjoy listening. The museum notes that performances may contain mature content, so an adult audience is recommended.
The event will also be livestreamed and recorded.
Admission is free, and no museum gallery ticket is required. Gallery access is not included.
Open Mic Poetry takes place in the Will Raymund Theater at The Dalí Museum, located at One Dalí Boulevard in St. Petersburg.
